It's Penguin-ing to Look Like Love

Over the summer, something cool happened to a pair of lovebirds: a proposal of love.

"​In short, it was everything she dreamed it could be," Dylan said.  He had found the perfect ring to propose her with and the perfect spot to do it.

The ring he picked out is 14k rose gold with 14k white gold accents. The rose gold brings out the rosy tones of the beautiful pear-shaped pink sapphire, and the elegant scrolls on the sides give the entire ring a vintage and fairytale feel.

They were visiting the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. He was hiding in her favorite section, the penguin exhibit, while she was with her parents. They told Alyssa they were meeting a few extended family members in the penguin exhibit so she went expecting to see her cousin, aunt, and uncle, but instead saw the love of her life with a ring! "She was speechless when she saw me," Dylan recounted. "I got down on one knee, popped the question, and she, of course, said yes!"
A special event like this attracted a small crowd and they all clapped for the two as she said yes.
"Having both her family and mine there as well made the day even more special. She could not stop smiling and staring at the ring in joy; it was perfect."
